High School Friends

Two of my best friends from high school and I got together yesterday to laugh and talk.  We had such a good time hanging out…and between the three of us there are now 10 little kids running around!  We met at Holli’s house and she provided drinks and chips, Audrey made us some delicious wraps that had bacon, turkey, avocado, tomato, and cheese with an apple dressing…YUM!!!  I brought my lemonade cupcakes, and we had a great afternoon visiting, laughing, and herding kids.

Kasers is always ready to share his treats with anyone!  He offered me some cheetos and goldfish crackers several times 🙂

This was our first time meeting little Everett…he is another super smiley little guy!

Our kids all seemed to get along with each other too.  The little girls took off into the other room to do crafts, and kept running out to show us their homemade paper laptops, and colored papers with tiny cuts around all the edges.  I kept having to track down Reese in the toy room and send her back out to play with the girls.  She just loves all of Jocelyn and Mylee’s toys so much that she was having a hard time tearing herself away from them!  She also had a spider by her plate at lunchtime and that was pretty traumatic for her.  Oh, the drama.

We all had such a good day, and it was so great to be able to visit with my friends and laugh over silly husbands that tell knock-knock jokes in their sleep!

Afterwards, my kids and I stopped at TJMaxx and Target to get a few birthday presents that we need for next week.  We came home to some delicious London Broil in the crockpot, (it was actually a little burnt, but still tasted pretty good!)  I think I might make the leftovers into quesadillas today.  Hope you have a great day!
