This is Teacher Appreciation week at Easton’s school, and today they wore their teacher’s favorite color….PINK! We found this reddish-pink shirt of mine that fit Easton pretty good, so he decided to wear it. He was a little sad that his teacher wasn’t at school today though!
Reese decided that it was pink day for all of us too. She dressed herself in pink when she got up, then when I was in the shower she went into my room and laid out my pink outfit on the bed. Funny girl!
I took these Andes Mint Cookies for the teacher luncheon, and they were so delicious! There are only four ingredients and they just took a few minutes to make, that’s my kind of recipe! Click this link to see the original post by Six Sisters’ Stuff.
1 Devil’s Food Cake Mix
1/2 cup oil
1 package of Andes Mints
Mix cake mix, oil, and eggs together. Drop spoonfuls of dough onto baking sheet. Bake at 350 degrees for 6-9 minutes. Don’t cook any longer than that! You don’t want them to be overdone! (**Mine were actually still doughy so I cooked them for another 3 minutes or so)
Take sheet out of oven and while the cookies are still very hot, place an Andes Mint on top of each cookie. In about 5 minutes, the mint will be melted. Take a spoon and smooth out each mint like frosting. YUM!
